Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Manager/FOH (Front of House) professional to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of exceptional events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences by managing all aspects of event operations, ensuring seamless guest interactions, and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for hospitality and event management. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to showcase their organizational talents and elevate event experiences to new heights.

Duties

Oversee all front-of-house operations during events, ensuring smooth guest flow and exceptional service delivery
Coordinate with clients, vendors, catering teams, and venue staff to plan event logistics and requirements
Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and optimizing resource allocation
Implement effective marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance through various channels
Upsell additional services or packages to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities
Develop detailed event timelines, checklists, and staffing plans to ensure timely execution
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement in future events

Skills

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors and service providers
Proven experience in event planning, management, and marketing within hospitality or related industries
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders effectively
Technical proficiency with event management software, POS systems, and audiovisual equipment
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
Experience in banquet operations, catering coordination, or restaurant/hotel environments is highly desirable
Adept at managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure profitable events
Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-pressure situations
