Full Job Description

Insurance Claims Clerk
We are JT2, a successful statewide third party administrator (TPA). We have an opportunity for an onsite full-time Insurance Claims Clerk, available in our Northern California branch located in Oakland.

Insurance Claims Clerk Job Description

Prepare and mail form letters and notices, as requested by the claims adjuster/supervisor
Enter data for new claims into the claims in the management system
Respond to records requests by retrieving electronic records and mail out to all parties of the claim
Answer and initiate telephone calls, as necessary
Assist in office tasks such as printing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, mailing
Perform other duties as assigned

Insurance Claims Clerk Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment and good interpersonal skills
You have the ability to work in a team environment, good interpersonal skills.
You are able to achieve high performance standards and exceed service expectations.
