Description

We are hiring for Food Service Attendant position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Evening shifts, 40 hours per week.

Under supervision prepares a variety of foods requiring short preparation for patients, public, staff and catered events. Serves meals and beverages in a variety of positions that requires very strong customer service interaction skills. Complies with HACCP guidelines and ensures correct food preparation, proper cleaning and sanitizing of work areas and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: National Food Handler Card – State, County, or City Authority

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Specific vocational training (this training may be obtained in a school, work, military, institutional, or vocational environment)
6 months of training or on-the-job experience in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling
