Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and dedicated Manufactured Home Park Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large 300-unit manufactured home park in Juneau, Alaska. This is a hands-on role focused on overall management, community leadership, operations, and resident satisfaction. The Park Manager is expected to balance customer service with enforcement of park rules, operational efficiency, and asset preservation. This position commonly oversees maintenance coordination, rent collection, lease enforcement, resident communication, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for residents, prospective residents, owners, and local authorities.
Support marketing efforts to attract new residents.
Oversee leasing activities: show available lots/homes, process applications, conduct move-ins/move-outs, and strive to maintain high occupancy rates.
Conduct background and credit checks for applicants.
Handle resident relations: address inquiries, resolve complaints, enforce community rules and regulations, and maintain positive tenant relationships.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, fair housing laws.
Ensure compliance with park policies regarding pets, parking, noise, storage and property upkeep.
Conduct regular property inspections and address community needs promptly.
Ensure park is clean, safe, and visually maintained.
Supervise park employees and contractors.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs: work with contractors, vendors, and on-site staff to ensure timely upkeep of grounds, roads, utilities, and facilities.
Collect rent, monitor delinquent accounts, coordinate collections.
Assist with legal notices, lease violations, and eviction processes.
Maintain documentation.
Note: Bookkeeping, online rent processing, and major financial reporting are supported externally for this role.

Qualifications:

Previous experience managing a manufactured home community, mobile home park, multifamily property, or similar residential community (experience with 100+ units strongly preferred).
Supervisory experience related to property operations and maintenance.
Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of basic property maintenance, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of Section 8 housing, Fair Housing requirements, and landlord-tenant laws.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Background check and references required.
On-site residence required and provided.

Preference:

· English/Spanish bi-lingual

Compensation:

$75,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience.
Employer provided on-site housing. $19,200
Shared park vehicle available. Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use.
Paid Time Off: 1-2 weeks + holidays.
