Full Job Description

Now Hiring: Health & Safety Technician II

Albany, NY Area (Candidates within approximately 100-mile radius encouraged to apply)

Pay: $30.00 – $44.00 per hour

Are you passionate about workplace safety and enjoy working in the field? We're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Technician II to join a growing team supporting industrial and manufacturing clients throughout the Northeast. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy variety, travel, and making a direct impact on workplace safety.

What You'll Do as the Health & Safety Technician II :

Conduct health & safety inspections at manufacturing, industrial, and construction sites.
Perform air monitoring, industrial hygiene assessments, and environmental sampling.
Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings directly with clients.
Assist clients with OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
Coordinate equipment, sampling, and laboratory activities for assigned projects.
Serve as the primary point of contact while delivering exceptional customer service on-site.
Travel to customer locations throughout the Northeast (travel is scheduled in advance, with expenses reimbursed and per diem provided).

What We're Looking For

Experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, EHS, Environmental Health, or a related field.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
Experience performing inspections, air sampling, industrial hygiene assessments, or technical reporting is highly preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and client relationships.
Comfortable climbing ladders, wearing respirators and PPE, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying environments.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (to local NY clients only).

Preferred Certifications, a plus but not required:

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
OSHA 30
OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
Industrial Hygiene certifications
Asbestos Inspector or Air Monitoring certifications
Lead, Mold, or Environmental Sampling certifications
