Position Overview:

We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist who is friendly, organized, and highly attentive to patient needs. As the first person our patients interact with, you set the tone for their experience at our office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients with a smile, assisting with scheduling, answering phones, processing payments, and contributing to a positive and efficient office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warm Patient Welcome: Greet patients with a friendly, professional demeanor and ensure they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
Patient Check-In & Check-Out: Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
Scheduling & Appointments: Manage patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and follow-ups. Coordinate with the chiropractic team to optimize patient flow.
Phone Management: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff.
Payment Collection: Process patient payments for services rendered, assist with insurance verifications, and provide receipts as needed.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to office policies.
Office Support: Assist with general office tasks, such as maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, stocking supplies, and managing incoming mail.
Positive Patient Experience: Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns with empathy, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience throughout their visit.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a healthcare or chiropractic setting, is a plus.
Personality: Enjoy interacting with people and creating a welcoming, friendly environment for both patients and staff. You want to be part of a positive and motivated team culture and are ready to engage.
Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a high interruption setting. Ability to handle patient flow and office tasks in a fast-paced environment with a friendly presence.
Communication Skills: Able to provide clear, upbeat, and professional communication in person, on the phone, and in writing with patients and staff alike.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using office software (e.g., EHR software, scheduling programs, Microsoft Office Suite) and able to learn new systems as needed.
Team Player: Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability in contributing to the overall team success with a keen ability to collaborate to enhance the patient's and the staff's experience.

Business Hours:

Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm

Be able to work part-time shifts within this range.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
