Who You Are::
The Director, Enterprise Applications is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and ongoing evolution of Extensis HR's enterprise application portfolio, with a primary focus on the Salesforce platform and customer-facing technology solutions. This leader will oversee both platform engineering and customer application development teams, ensuring that enterprise systems are scalable, reliable, and tightly aligned to business processes across Sales, Service, Operations, and Client Experience. The Director will serve as the executive-level point of accountability for Salesforce governance, platform architecture, and the full lifecycle of customer-oriented application development.
What You'll Do::
- Own the enterprise application roadmap with a concentration on Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and related customer development platforms.

Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary team encompassing Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and customer application engineers.

Partner with Sales, Client Services, Marketing, and Operations leaders to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality platform solutions.

Drive Salesforce platform governance including release management, org health, data architecture, security model, and licensing optimization.

Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for customer-facing applications, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, testing protocols, and deployment best practices.

Establish and enforce enterprise integration standards between Salesforce and adjacent systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, benefits platforms, data warehouse).

Manage vendor relationships, system integrators, and Salesforce partner ecosystem engagements.

Define and track platform KPIs, SLAs, and adoption metrics; report progress to senior leadership.

Evaluate and introduce new Salesforce capabilities, AppExchange solutions, and adjacent technologies to support business growth.

Lead application modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives within the enterprise application portfolio.

Manage departmental budget, resource planning, and capacity management.
What You Bring::
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in enterprise application management, with at least 5 years of direct Salesforce platform leadership.

Proven experience managing cross-functional development teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Administrator; Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Developer certifications strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or equivalent).

Experience leading customer application development programs in a B2B SaaS, PEO, or HR technology environment preferred.

Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise programs on time and within budget.
