We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who takes initiative, demonstrates personal accountability, and approaches their work with a strong sense of ownership.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist in the preparation, processing, and dispensing of non-sterile compounded prescriptions while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

This role requires initiative, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing positively to team performance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and compound non-sterile prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Maintain strict adherence to NM Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations
Ensure accurate documentation and labeling
Maintain organized inventory and clean workspaces
Enter prescriptions and process orders using pharmacy software
Communicate professionally with patients and providers
Identify workflow improvements and take initiative to resolve issues
Support overall pharmacy operations and team efficiency

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent training
Active NM Board of Pharmacy Technician registration
National certification (CPhT) required
Current CE compliance
Strong computer skills and pharmacy software experience
Understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
