Registration Receptionists

Premier Urgent Care is now accepting resumes for the position of Registration Receptionists. 2 year of insurance verification, physician’s office, or related experience preferred. Must have customer service experience. Primarily responsible for answering telephone, scheduling patients, checks patients in and obtaining necessary documentation. Verifies and enters demographic information. Obtains and verifies insurance, inputs and updates computer information, collects payment for services, summarizes and reports daily business activity. Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times; communicate effectively with patients, providers and others; initiates new patient charts and maintains / provides for distribution of the medical record according to policy; maintains a professional demeanor to assure patients are treated in an appropriate and compassionate manner at all times. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
