Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to manage our community education programs. Heritage Care Inc. (HCI) operates a CNA program in both Maryland and Virginia, a CDC Diabetes Prevention Program, and a Community Health Worker (CHW) training program. We also provide pediatric therapy and early childhood education services. This role has strong growth potential and any success that the program manager has will directly translate into more opportunities. This role will focus almost entirely on the development and management of the aforementioned community education programs. This is a part-time position to start and has the potential to become a full-time position if there is an expansion of the community education programs. Most hours will be in-person but there are opportunities for remote work. This role includes a bonus program for recruiting and enrolling community members in our grant-funded education programs. Further bonus details will be provided during the interview process.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, has excellent program-solving skills, is flexible and able to adapt to quick or unexpected changes.

Duties

Program Management

Assist the Chief Operating Officer with the development, implementation, and management of the CNA training program in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Monitor program effectiveness and make continuous improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
Complete all necessary invoice forms from CNA program funding sources.

Compliance and Accreditation:

Ensure the program complies with all regulatory requirements set forth by state licensing boards, the Department of Health, and other governing agencies.
Prepare and submit required documentation for program approval, audits, and accreditation.
Assist students with the CNA licensure process.
Register students for the NNAAP exam.
Review skills with students for the NNAAP exam
Instruction and Staffing:
Collaborate with instructors to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum and provide support as needed.
Student Support and Recruitment:
Recruit future CNA students
Oversee the enrollment and admissions process for CNA students.
Register students for WIOA and/or other government funding.
Monitor student progress
Program Operations:
Maintain and organize student records, including attendance, performance evaluations, and certification outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum of an Associate's Degree or currently in school obtaining a degree
Current CNA license
Strong Spanish-language skills
Knowledge of state and federal CNA certification and training regulations.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with the Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Reliable Transportation around the DMV area.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while observing and assisting with CNA skills training.
Manual dexterity sufficient to use computers, projectors, and training equipment.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
