Full Job Description

Landscape Crew Foreman This person must be proficient in all aspects of landscaping. They must be aware of and mastered all standards of operation. This person must know and be able to enforce all of DeHoff's quality expectations. This is a full time position we DO NOT LAY OFF in the winter.

Requirements

1. Excellent driving record (CDL encouraged)

2. Proficient equipment operation and mechanical knowledge

3. Minimum 3 years experience in landscaping or a 2 year degree in horticulture

4. Ability to manage 2-4 laborers and coordinate delivery of materials as needed

5. Responsible for enforcing safety of the customer, job site, and company employees on site6. Maintain physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned job tasks

7. Excellent communication skills to communicate with fellow employees and customers.

8. Must be able to work night shifts to help with snow removal

9. Work four 10's - Schedule is Monday - Thursday 7 AM-5:30 PM. Fridays and overtime pay is optional.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage individual landscape jobs.

2. Manage and schedule material delivery and labor to accomplish production schedules within established budgets for landscape installation jobs.

3. Communicate with salesman to understand job specifications and ensure they are met to maintain customer's complete satisfaction.

4. Supervise employees to enforce safe use of equipment and efficient use of time.

5. Train employees in equipment operation, equipment maintenance and standards of operation.

6. Provide input in forecasting future needs of staff, equipment, and materials for the future

7. Ensure quality standards are met and fix any problems that may arise due to quality.

8. Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, and at the shop.

9. Develop and recommend improved work methods and standards.

10. Ensure value is being added to customer properties in the most efficient methods possible.

11. Help with hiring and recruiting new employees.

12. Help establish production benchmarks and goals.

13. Provide snow removal services
