The Audio System Lead will:
Oversee all aspects of audio equipment including, but not limited to refurbishment, OWO’s, training, upgrades, and improvements of equipment.- Conduct training and knowledge transfer on equipment to other AV leads and technicians.
- Hands on development with newer employees and AV leads in a mentoring role.
- Serve as AV lead in the field for SGS, NDE, CR&R, and IBO organizations when required.
- Will work directly with Audio Equipment Owner on processes and improvements.
- Will oversee both IP and Digital Audio equipment that supports each organization.
- Must have a basic knowledge of our Audio Equipment and setup in the field.
What You’ll Do Day-To-Day:
- Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.

Conducts a variety of routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.

Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.

Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.

Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.

May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.

Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.

Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.

May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.

May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.

Technical certifications to be acquired: NDE Technician II requirements met; Tool Technician: Must gain two additional tool technician certs and be an Assistant System Lead for a tool system; Operator: Must acquire two additional operator certifications; NDE Technician: Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least 2 disciplines; Leadership: Must attend at least one leadership course per year and fill a leadership role.

Minimum of 6 years of related experience and NDE Technician II requisites* is required.
- NDE Technician II requisites met: Tool Technician: Two additional tool technician certs; Operator: Must complete NDE117.2, NDE1150.5, NDE1320.2, NDE1110.4 or RAN100.2; NDE Technician: Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least one discipline.

Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field.

May require specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.

Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles.
- Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.

- Salary: $30.90 - $40.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
