Full Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract Role) Location: Warminster, PA (Onsite) Pay: $20-$25/hour Schedule: Full-time

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in the construction industry to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can quickly jump in to support a busy AP team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of invoices (approximately 150-200 per day) with accuracy and efficiency
Assist in managing and reducing a backlog of invoices (3-4 months)
Support a large vendor base (5,000+ vendors), including handling inquiries and resolving discrepancies
Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances
Research and resolve purchase order (PO) and invoice matching issues
Distribute incoming mail and invoices, ensuring timely routing and processing
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures

Qualifications:

1+ years of Accounts Payable or high-volume data entry experience
Experience handling large vendor volumes or working in a fast-paced environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
