Job Description

JOB TITLE: Process Improvement Training Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Manager of Process Improvement

OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Training Coordinator is responsible for administering and maintaining the organization's digital training systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives through effective coordination, communication, and administration. This role ensures training materials are current and digital platforms are accessible. They support Process Improvement efforts through cross-functional collaboration and organizational support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with other departments and subject matter experts (SME) to coordinate the building, maintaining, updating and improving for a centralized, digital database for training materials.
Collaborating with other departments and SMEs to coordinate the construction of a digital New Hire training platform for use at SC’s
Ensure that digital training processes comply with government and company regulations
Assist with the implementation of digital training platform
Coordinate maintenance and optimizations of digital training platforms
Collaborate with SMEs and Department heads to ensure optimal functionality of digital training platforms for users in the field.
Monitor new hire progress and provide regular updates to managers and department heads
Participate in cross-functional training and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organizational knowledge and support the development of effective training programs across all departments.
Support Process Improvement projects and initiatives through coordination, administration and communication

Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Organizational skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills
Must be self-managing to compile, prioritize, communicate and track project aspects to completion.
Must work well within a team environment and be willing to take on both participatory and leadership roles
Must show/demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills
Must be proficient with PC’s and demonstrate a willingness/desire to learn and apply additional computer related skills
Previous experience with Hiring and/or Training processes
Previous experience with Transportation and/or Logistics industries is preferred
Some experience with Team coordination, small group leadership and/or Project Management is preferred
High School education with some advanced education after high school preferred
