Compensation:

$41.87 – $62.22 per hour (DOE)
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus
Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

Position Summary

Join Modoc Medical Center, a cornerstone of rural healthcare in the scenic northeast corner of California, as a CT Technologist. In this vital role, you’ll perform diverse imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality care in a supportive, community-focused environment. Essential Responsibilities

Ensure patient safety by minimizing risks related to equipment and radiation
Operate and maintain imaging equipment properly
Prepare and instruct patients for exams, assessing and addressing any pain or concerns
Process x-rays and uphold quality assurance protocols
Follow aseptic techniques and comply with all state and federal health regulations
Maintain professional, compassionate communication with patients and families

Minimum Qualifications

California Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure: Radiology & Flouroscopy
Proficient computer skills
Current CPR certification
Commitment to ongoing infection control and safety training
Ability to work independently and accurately with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with advanced CT imaging modalities and software, adaptable to a broad range of patient needs
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and PACS systems commonly used in rural hospitals
Experience working in rural healthcare settings, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of serving a close-knit community
Additional certifications such as ARRT CT certification or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred to enhance emergency readiness in a rural facility
