Job Overview

Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate in a Manager In Training role! This exciting position offers a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills while delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of our store, you’ll engage with customers, promote products, and learn the ins and outs of store operations. Your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and inspired to shop with us. This paid position is designed to prepare you for future management responsibilities while ensuring a fun, fast-paced work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Operate the cash register, handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer procedures with precision.
Ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards.
Assist with inventory management, including stocking new products and conducting stock counts.
Support store operations by maintaining phone etiquette, processing returns or exchanges, and ensuring a smooth checkout process.
Learning opportunities - Lead by example in supervising team members during shifts, offering guidance on POS systems, customer interactions, and store policies.

Requirements

Previous retail sales experience not necessary, paid training provided.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings.
Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in a retail environment or similar setting.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.
Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies.
