A progressive public accounting firm in downtown Los Angeles is in need of a Senior IT Auditor to join it's dynamic team. With the proliferation of technology, information technology, or IT, auditing is a solid field for those with a genuine interest and aptitude for computer networking.

Responsibilities

An IT auditor is responsible for the internal controls and risks of a company’s technology network. This role includes identifying the weaknesses in a systems network and creating an action plan to prevent security breeches in the technology. The IT auditor is also involved in the planning and execution of internal audit procedures and the creation of internal audit reports. Must work within a team to create a solid information technology infrastructure, and collaborate with clients to devise and put in place policies and procedures regarding network security issues.

Skills Required

Bachelor degree in information technology, information systems, accounting or business administration.
Solid communication skills to not only understand technical jargon, but to translate technical jargon into business-related decisions for management and clients.
Patience and an ability to teach is a plus.
3 - 5 Years IT Audit Experience

Certification

Certified Information Systems Auditor, or CISA, or

Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or CISSP,
