Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

Lead implementation of R&D projects and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Support product and process development, with emphasis on adhesive and sealer applications.
Collaborate with production teams and technical experts to generate ideas, conduct trials, and implement solutions.
Develop, review, and strengthen systems and controls, including linking failures to FMEAs, Control Plans, and customer requirements.
Monitor performance through audits, documentation, and analysis; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with quality (QS9000), maintenance (preventive/predictive), and safety standards, while supporting additional duties as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Associate degree in technical discipline AND six months to one year experience/training;
OR a Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card AND six months to one year experience/training;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
OR a minimum of 5 years in a technical position.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:

Minimum 5 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required .
Robust understanding in robotics programming.
Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis is desired.
Strong organizational, communications and problem - solving skills required . Skilled in using PC and complex software including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Basic understanding of 1K and 2K Sealer Systems: Pneumatic pumps, Hoses (some heated), Shot meter ( doser ), Inlet/Outlet (d ispense ) valves
