Full Job Description

Job Summary

Join our Buick GMC dealership as an Automotive Finance Manager, where you will lead the financing processes to enhance customer satisfaction and drive dealership success. In this role, you will manage all aspects of auto loan and lease approvals, develop strong client relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help customers navigate their financing options confidently while maximizing sales opportunities. This position offers a vibrant environment for motivated professionals eager to excel in automotive financial services.

Duties

Facilitate the financing process by structuring auto loans and leases that meet both customer needs and dealership goals.
Conduct thorough credit analysis, review financial documents, and determine loan eligibility in accordance with industry standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other financial regulations.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication, upselling insurance products, extended warranties, and other financial services.
Collaborate with sales teams to support automotive sales efforts by providing timely financing options and negotiating favorable terms.
Ensure all loan processing activities comply with dealership policies, federal and state regulations, including title processing and transaction structuring.
Utilize industry-specific software such as CDK or similar platforms for accurate deal documentation, contract creation, and transaction management.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including credit applications, contracts, and compliance documentation, adhering to financial regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within a dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, financial services, and compliance requirements such as TILA.
Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and deal structuring to optimize sales outcomes.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Reylods&Reynolds), credit analysis tools, and basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
Loan officer experience or background in financial services is highly desirable.
Familiarity with title processing, loan processing procedures, contracts management, and automotive financing regulations.
