Clinical Supervisor/Psychotherapist, Private Practice

Pay: 70/30 fee split

Fee split covers billing/admin support, clients from interest form, social media / marketing representation, credentialing with our insurers, office space and subscriptions to our EHR, virtual receptionist, G Suite and Slack.

Clinical Supervisor and Psychotherapist, Private Practice

Clinical Supervisors are LMSWs who oversee supervision for all LLMSWs. They carry a full caseload and provide clinical supervision. Clinical Supervisors run weekly group supervision, didactics and new hire/intern orientation. Clinical Supervisors provide case consultation, track weekly client numbers and provide mentorship to their assigned LLMSW clinicians. Clinical Supervisors meet weekly with the leadership team to track client numbers, discuss practice culture and troubleshoot concerns. They have the freedom to create their own schedules outside of weekly group supervision and leadership meeting.

Psychotherapist Core Responsibilities

Provide Individual and/or family therapy to children, youth, families, and young adults with a minimum caseload of 20 clients per week.
Conduct Bio/psycho/social/spiritual/cultural assessments and develop treatment plans with clients.
Employ an intersectional and affirming social justice framework in practice.
Assess client’s safety, collaborate in the creation of safety plans, and provide referrals to the appropriate level of care when necessary.
Participate in supervision and company meetings.
Maintain consistent and timely documentation of service

Clinical Supervisor Core Responsibilities

Supervise assigned clinicians for one hour each weekly, tracking caseloads, providing consultation and assisting clinicians in meeting their goals for development
Respond to supervisee’s requests for support in timely manner, troubleshoot ethical concerns, provide support in emergent cases and act as point of contact
for any clinically related issues at the practice
Acclimate new hires to EHR, Slack, Google Voice, Google Drive and provide assistance in day to day processes
Sign notes of LLMSW within 72 hours of DOS
Review and sign letters for support as requested by clients in timely fashion
Facilitate intern and LL group supervision twice a month
Attend weekly leadership meetings with the clinical director to ensure practice wide communication and collaboration
Establishes themselves as a resource to colleagues and participates in nurturing office culture
Interview and place graduate student therapists with respective intern supervisors
Maintain full time caseload of 20 billable hours per week
Deliver and facilitate intern/new hire orientation and demonstrate public speaking skills
Facilitate and/or organize weekly didactic for graduate student therapists

Position Requirements

State license to practice therapy in Michigan (LMSW)
A Master of Social Work required.

Preferred Requirements

Clinical experience working with youth, families, and young adults.
Experience working with diverse and underserved populations.
Experience working with members of the LGBTQQIA+ community using an affirming intersectional social justice lens.
Knowledge of working with individuals on the autism spectrum or who live with anxiety, depression, trauma(s), injustice, and oppressed identities.
Training, or interest, in the provision of gender-affirming services.
