Required Experience: 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Java, Jira, and Oracle.

Required Education: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

Job duties:

Emergtech Business Solutions, Inc. has an opening for the position of Sr. Java Developer (Ref# SJD211VK).
Work Location: Farmington Hills, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support applications software, including web-based applications and major enhancements of existing systems, for client projects using Java/J2EE technologies. Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) including business requirement gathering and web application development. Design, develop, and implement unit tests and product features for business components. Implement business logic using object-oriented programming and Micro Services architecture. Develop RESTful Web Services to retrieve data from the client side using Micro Services architecture of Spring Boot application and perform unit testing and functional testing with different sets of data. Standardize, build, and support a portfolio of reusable cloud components, services, and interfaces. Automate cloud infrastructure maintenance. Enable DevOps solutions development and development paradigms. Responsible for provisioning environment and deploying the dockerized applications by developing JIRA manifests for tracking the activities. Implement CI/CD pipeline as code using Jenkins and implement build and deployment scripts using Maven and Gradle. Remain conversant with new DevOps tools. Use of Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services, Micro Services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Angular, XML, Ajax, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Docker, Eclipse, Apache Tomcat, JUnit, Postman, Jira, Oracle, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Java, Jira, and Oracle. 40hrs/week.
