Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to support the mission of the Presbyterian Home for Children by providing exceptional service, professionalism, and compassionate care in all aspects of the role. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment while working collaboratively with residents, students, families, volunteers, coworkers, and community partners to help transform lives through hope, healing, and opportunity.

Purpose of Position:
The function of the Presbyterian Home for Children (PHFC) Transitional Housing Case Manager is to provide case management services and support for clients and families in an assigned department.
To be a successful Case Manager for the Transitional Housing Programs, you must be willing, and become able to do the following always.
- Provide support and case management services to the clients in the program.
- Perform the essential job function as described in the task list from the Program Departmental Manual.
- Function within Presbyterian Home for Children policies and procedures as outlined in Employee’s Guide to Successful Employment with the PHFC.
Requirements: ________________________________________________________________________
- Must have a Bachelor’s; a Social Work degree is preferred.
- Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license.
- Must be insurable to drive our vehicles.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and then a physical every 2 years.
- Must pass a pre-employment 12 panel drug screen.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Must have a clear AB/FBI background check.
- A Child Abuse and Neglect Form will also be completed and sent to DHR. They will need to give us the okay for you to work around children since the Home has many children living on our property.
- Work on weekends as needed.
- Work a flexible schedule.
Pay: From $31,500.00 per year
