Junior Clerical Assistant

Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $16-$17/hour (W2), depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Job Overview:

The incumbent is responsible for supporting administrative and information management functions through accurate recordkeeping, data compilation, reporting, and document processing activities. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of organizational information while providing clerical and administrative support in accordance with established procedures. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in computer systems and office productivity applications. The work environment may be office-based or located within an operational, non-office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain comprehensive records, files, and documentation systems.
Compile and organize data from various sources, forms, and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare standard, routine, and special reports, charts, and summaries using established formats and procedures.
Contact internal departments to obtain information, clarify requirements, and reconcile routine discrepancies.
Perform calculations involving complex arithmetic and verify the accuracy of data and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of documents processed and transactions completed.
Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect data and notify the appropriate departments for resolution.
Make minor corrections to records and documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
Utilize computer systems and related office equipment to record, store, retrieve, and manage information.
Perform structured clerical and administrative duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely processing, tracking, and reporting of information.
Assist with maintaining data integrity and compliance with organizational recordkeeping standards.

Qualifications:

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required.
0 to 3 years of relevant experience in administrative support, clerical operations, records management, data entry, or a related field.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and business communication practices.

Preferred:

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Ability to compile, analyze, and organize information from multiple sources with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
