What You'll Do
As our QA Analyst, you'll be responsible for testing system enhancements, identifying issues before they reach production, and helping improve the overall quality of our software and business processes.
Quality Assurance & System Testing
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements Analysis
- Review business and technical requirements for completeness and testability.
- Collaborate with developers, business users, and stakeholders to understand project goals.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design review meetings.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
- Build strong working relationships with departments across the organization.
Defect Management
- Log, prioritize, and manage software defects.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate resolutions.
- Provide detailed documentation and supporting evidence for reported defects.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend enhancements to QA processes, testing methodologies, and standards.
- Help establish and maintain quality assurance best practices.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve software quality, efficiency, and user experience.
Training & Documentation
- Train new employees on systems related to their roles.
- Create and deliver training for new system features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Help build onboarding and training materials for new team members.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Acumatica ERP
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience creating test plans, documenting business processes, and managing software defects
