Full Job Description

At Boston Valley Terra Cotta, we guide a culture where people embrace the belief that everyone can contribute. As a Production Saw Operator, you will need experience cutting on a wet saws and CNC cutting machines.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and drawings to make cuts according to specifications.
Maintain accuracy and quality to within 1/16”.
Use a tape measure and square to measure accurately.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Qualifications

1+ years’ experience with saws and/or cutting machines.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints and take accurate measurements.
Willing to perform quality checks on completed work.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Summary

As a Production Saw Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and machining skills to operate and maintain saw machines effectively. Your role involves ensuring precision in cutting materials while adhering to safety and quality standards. Your proficiency in CNC operations, along with skills in blueprint reading and quality inspection, will enhance production efficiency. Join our team to contribute to support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
