SCHEDULE: 4x10's (Wednesday-Sun or Sun-Weds) 5:00pm - 4:00am (one hour lunch break)
Position Overview:
The Overnight Cultivator is responsible for actively monitoring the cultivation facility to ensure crop health and the proper operation of infrastructure. The technician serves as the "eyes and ears" of the cultivation and maintenance teams, acting as a proactive guardian of the facility by identifying problems early, protecting the crop, and performing light maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:
- Facility & Crop Monitoring: Conduct scheduled, thorough walkthroughs of the facility throughout the night to identify plant stress (e.g., wilting), environmental abnormalities, or facility issues like leaks and equipment noises.
- System Oversight: Monitor and ensure the functionality of critical systems, including irrigation, HVAC, lighting, CO₂ levels, and environmental controls.
- Emergency Response: Troubleshoot alarms and equipment faults within the scope of training and escalate serious issues to management immediately to prevent crop loss.
- Reporting & Communication: Maintain consistent communication with cultivation management and complete a detailed "Nightly Facility Report" at the end of each shift covering all inspections, abnormalities, and corrective actions.
- Cultivation Support: When conditions are stable, assist with general cultivation tasks such as cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to walk the facility repeatedly throughout the overnight shift and stand for extended periods.
- Physical Dexterity: Capable of bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and safely using ladders and hand tools.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment associated with cultivation operations.
- Environment: Comfortable working in typical commercial cultivation environments around water, electrical equipment, and lighting.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in commercial cultivation, controlled-environment agriculture, facilities maintenance, or HVAC.
- Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of irrigation systems (pumps, valves, filters), plumbing, HVAC, electrical equipment, and environmental controls.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical or cultivation equipment and recognize common signs of plant stress.
- Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify unusual environmental changes or trends.
