Full Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional Healthcare

Location: Florence, AZ 85232
Contract: Travel Contract

Quick Highlights

Pay: Up to $55/hour
Weekly Pay: Up to $1,980/week
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: Typically 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36
Start Date: Sep 7, 2026

U.S. Citizenship Required
70-Mile Radius Requirement Applies

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care and perform patient assessments.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
Assist providers with examinations, sick calls, and treatment procedures.
Monitor patient behavior and identify changes requiring clinical attention.
Assist with medical file reviews and healthcare documentation.
Follow pharmacy, safety, infection control, and correctional healthcare policies.
Maintain a safe medical environment and respond appropriately to serious or unusual incidents.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a nursing degree or diploma.
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience required.
1 year of Correctional, Psychiatric, or Behavioral Health experience is highly desired.
U.S. Citizenship required for facility clearance.
Must have open availability based on facility scheduling needs.

70-Mile Radius Requirement

A 70-mile radius requirement applies to this position. Candidates residing within 70 miles of the assignment location will not be eligible for this opportunity. Only candidates who reside 70 miles or more from the assignment location will be considered.
