AED Stratecon is seeking a Project Engineer to support onsite design/build construction projects across Europe and the Middle East. This role supports day-to-day project execution and works closely with the Project Manager and field teams. The candidate must possess a strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency with industry codes and standards, including ASTM, ACI, AISC, and CRSI, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, with demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6. Relevant experience should include, but is not limited to, material takeoffs, submittal preparation and review, RFIs, material requisitions, quality control, field directives, schedule development and maintenance, and resolving day-to-day construction-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
· Support design/build project execution from planning through closeout.
· Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and onsite personnel.
· Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
· Assist with schedule tracking, cost reporting, and progress updates.
· Provide construction management, field engineering, or administrative support as needed.
· Support quality control and safety compliance onsite.
Required Qualifications
· Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one)
· 5 - 8 years of engineering or comparable construction experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Recent successful performance as a Project Engineer.
· Experience supporting design/build construction projects.
· Ability and willingness to work onsite at international project locations, including extended assignments overseas.
