Full Job Description

The Relationship Banker serves as a trusted financial partner, delivering high-quality service and supporting customers’ daily banking needs. This role combines customer engagement, problem-solving, and financial guidance while helping create a welcoming branch environment and foster long-term client relationships.

Summary:

The Relationship Banker conducts meaningful conversations to understand customer needs, performs routine teller transactions, and provides exceptional customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome customers and promote a positive branch experience.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying financial needs and offeringappropriate solutions.

Conduct needs-based discussions to recommend additional products and services.

Communicate clearly and professionally while demonstrating empathy and active listening.

Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Handle inbound and outbound phone service to efficiently resolve client needs, processaccount requests, and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Complete customer requests and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Performs routine transactions which include but not limited to deposits, withdrawals,payments, account maintenance, wire transfers, and account closures.

Maintain accuracy and compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatorystandards by completing all required training as scheduled

Assist customers with self-service, digital banking tools, and mobile options.

Balance cash drawers and follow established cash control procedures.

Buy and sell cash to the Federal Reserve as needed.

Collect required documentation and process the opening of all account types, includingconsumer and business accounts.

Recommend applicable banking products such as checking, savings, credit cards, loans,and business treasury services.

Generate high-quality referrals to specialists (e.g., business banking, hospitality loans,commercial loans, auto lending).

Uphold professional appearance, represent the bank with integrity, and display our corevalues.

Adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.

Collaborate with team members to support branch goals.

Demonstrate strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills in customer interactions.

Manage workload effectively and meet required timelines.

Support other branches and areas of the bank as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required / Preferred Skills:

Required: Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, andPowerPoint.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.Minimum one (1) year of teller or cash handling experience preferred.Bilingual preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
