Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Mitigation Technician/Project Manager, where you will spearhead mitigation and restoration projects to help clients recover from water, fire, mold, and other property damages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinate emergency response efforts, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Your expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional service while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities

Lead mitigation and restoration projects, including water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and flood restoration efforts.
Oversee on-site operations, ensuring all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards.
Coordinate emergency response readiness to quickly mobilize resources during urgent incidents.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications to ensure timely and satisfactory project completion.
Operate company vehicles and a variety of power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment such as Xactimate for estimating damages.
Supervise team members in proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform detailed cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and debris removal while adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in the restoration industry with knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.
Strong construction background with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and other restoration equipment.
Ability to operate company vehicles safely and confidently.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
Demonstrated emergency response readiness with the ability to handle on-call coverage for urgent situations.
Knowledge of safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and PPE use during all phases of work.
Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
