Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator
Lair Care, LLC — an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise Location: Asheboro, NC | Job Type: Full-Time
About Us
Home Instead of Asheboro has been helping seniors age with independence and dignity for the last two decades. What started as one franchise has grown into one of the fastest-growing Home Instead franchise groups in the country — but we've never lost sight of what matters most: people. Every member of our team is guided by a shared commitment to treat our Care Professionals, clients, and each other with humility, honesty, and genuine care.
We're looking for a Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator who thrives on building steady, trusting relationships and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes — someone who finds real satisfaction in doing a job right, following through consistently, and being the calm, reliable presence that both new Care Professionals and our internal team can count on.
About the Role
As our Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals interested in becoming a Care Professional with us. You'll guide them carefully through every step of the process — from that first friendly phone call, through screening and interviews, to onboarding and beyond — making sure each person feels welcomed, informed, and supported. This is a relationship-focused, detail-oriented role suited to someone who values consistency, structure, and doing things the right way every time — not someone chasing constant change or high-pressure sales targets.
What You'll Do
- Warmly and professionally answer every employment inquiry, building trust from the very first conversation
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews with care and consistency
- Follow established Home Instead standards for reference checks, background screenings, motor vehicle checks, and drug screens
- Maintain accurate, organized employment records (I-9s, W-4s, and related documentation)
- Coordinate closely with the Scheduling Department to create thoughtful, lasting matches between Care Professionals and clients
- Plan and lead weekly orientation sessions, ensuring a steady pipeline of new team members
- Develop and maintain engagement initiatives that help Care Professionals feel valued and supported long-term
- Monitor and log client and Care Professional activity within our software system
- Keep training and orientation materials current and easy to follow
- Ensure compliance with labor and safety standards (EOE, ADA, FMLA, OSHA)
- Respond to all inquiries within 12 hours (next business day for weekend leads)
- Support client and Care Professional introductions and other coordination tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- A patient, attentive communicator who listens as well as they speak
- Someone dependable, organized, and comfortable following clear procedures and standards
- A team player who builds cooperative, trust-based relationships with colleagues, Care Professionals, and clients
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through — you finish what you start, accurately and on time
- Comfortable spending extended time on the phone and at a desk in a professional office setting
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and general office equipment
- Discreet, fair-minded, and steady under routine day-to-day demands
- Available for occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Prior experience in senior care, healthcare, or a coordination/administrative role is a plus, but a genuine desire to serve people well matters most
Why Join Us
- A stable, supportive team culture built on humility, honesty, and encouragement
- Clear processes and standards — you'll always know what's expected and how to succeed
- Meaningful work that directly improves the lives of seniors and their families
- A workplace that genuinely values consistency, care, and steady growth over chaos and churn
If you're someone who finds fulfillment in quietly, reliably making things work well for other people, we'd love to hear from you.
