Full Job Description

Higher-Level Executive Assistant to the Founder

Ishita Interiors | Asheville, NC | In Person
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses

Ishita Interiors is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to work directly alongside our Founder. This is not a traditional assistant role—it is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to learn how a nationally recognized luxury hospitality design company operates and grows.

You’ll support the Founder across client relationships, project coordination, business development, leadership initiatives, job-site visits, conferences, and special projects. No two days will be the same, so the right candidate will enjoy variety, take ownership, and remain confident in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Attend client meetings, strategy sessions, site visits, and project walkthroughs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide proactive communication.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and operations teams to keep projects moving.
Track follow-ups, deadlines, and commitments across departments.
Identify potential issues and help develop practical solutions.
Support proposals, presentations, partnerships, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Assist with business development and represent the company at industry events.
Take ownership of special projects from planning through execution.

What We’re Looking For

Three or more years of experience in a client-facing, operations, project management, hospitality, real estate, construction, consulting, or similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
A professional, polished, and confident approach when working with clients and executives.
A proactive, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Availability to work in person in Asheville, North Carolina.

Experience in luxury hospitality, interior design, architecture, construction, or real estate is preferred but not required.
