Gentry Service Group, a well-established company serving the Asheville area since 1963, is seeking a Residential Installation Coordinator to coordinate daily residential installation operations. This position will serve as the first point of contact for routine field issues, support installation crews, manage unfinished work, coordinate customer follow-up, and help maintain high standards for quality and professionalism.

What You'll Do
-
Monitor active residential HVAC installations and help keep jobs moving toward completion

Serve as the first point of contact for routine installer questions and field problems

Provide technical and logistical support to installation crews

Visit complicated, delayed, or troubled jobs when necessary

Manage unfinished jobs by identifying what is needed and coordinating a clear completion plan

Communicate with customers regarding routine delays, return visits, and installation corrections
-
Direct the Installation Support Technician's follow-ups, customer visits, quality checks, IAQ work, field support, and additional changeouts

Coordinate the installation-side electrical lead and helper on HVAC electrical work, panel upgrades, generators, and related repair work

Review installation pictures, documentation, and quality concerns

Coordinate corrections and coach crews on recurring workmanship problems

Help reduce callbacks, failed inspections, red tags, and repeated quality issues

Attend the weekly production meeting and provide updates on unfinished work, customer commitments, and significant field concerns

Set clear expectations for quality, productivity, communication, professionalism, and accountability

Escalate major customer, financial, personnel, safety, or licensing concerns to the Direct Supervisor
What You Need

Three or more years of residential HVAC installation experience

Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC equipment, installation, startup, and troubleshooting
-
Previous experience as a lead installer, field supervisor, installation coordinator, or similar leadership role

Ability to organize and monitor multiple active jobs

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach employees and hold them accountable

Excellent communication and customer-service skills

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions when several issues occur at once

Strong follow-through and attention to detail
-
Ability to use email, mobile applications, and field-documentation software
-
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
