Full Job Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist – Nights
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: Travel / Contract (13 Weeks)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Schedule

Shift: Nights
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend
Call Requirement:
3 weekday call shifts per month
1 weekend call every 12 weeks
Holidays: As assigned

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a leading Level I Trauma Center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment performing advanced MRI procedures on adult and geriatric patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and department protocols
Operate Siemens MRI equipment safely and effectively
Conduct neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, breast, and enterography imaging studies
Monitor patients throughout MRI procedures and ensure safety compliance
Start IVs and administer contrast as required
Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
Follow MRI safety protocols and quality assurance standards

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
Strong candidates with 1.5 years of experience in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital may be considered
ARRT (MR) or NMTCB certification required
BLS certification required
Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
Ability to work independently during night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac MRI experience
IV start proficiency
Previous Level I Trauma Center experience
Experience with EPIC EMR

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per week
