Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a receptionist position in a busy internal medicine practice in Aspen, CO.

An ideal candidate will have excellent skills in consumer relations, an ability to multi-task and experience with navigating an electronic medical health record system. Job responsibilities include: inputting the medical providers' schedules, processing new patient paperwork, collecting new insurance information, scheduling patient appointments, collection and posting of co-payments, assisting patients by phone and in person, reconciliation of a balance ledger at the end of the workday, assisting our office manager, etc.

Applicants should be locally based with housing.

Our office has a wonderful team-based culture and someone filling this position will receive support from other members of our staff.

One to three years of experience in a similar position within a medical office is preferred. Experience with computerized appointment scheduling and patient demographics preferred. Highly motivated candidates with strong interpersonal skills are required.

Our practice is open 5 days per week, 8:30-5:00pm, with lunch from 1:00pm-2:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
