Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health for our diverse client base.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining precise financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a wide array of clients and ensure smooth, compliant bookkeeping processes.

Hours: 25-40 hours a week – semi-flexible schedule

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis.
Experience with governmental accounting practices and non-profit accounting is a plus.
Excellent skills in account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and financial concepts.
Knowledge of payroll processing, tax experience, and accounts payable/receivable management.
Prevailing wage/public works payroll experience a huge plus!
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately using 10 key typing skills and attention to detail.
Responsible for maintaining multiple clients on a daily basis

Position starts between $24 and $30 depending on experience with the salary for the position ranging from $24-$35.
