Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Expo/Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team! You will coordinate reservations, manage seating arrangements, assist servers with timely food delivery, and maintain a clean and organized dining environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Escort guests to their tables efficiently, ensuring proper seating arrangements and wait times are communicated clearly.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining organization at the service stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Support guest relations by answering phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and providing accurate wait times or reservation information.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during all service activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone.
- Basic math skills for handling guest counts, reservations, and POS transactions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage seating flow and maintain a clean dining environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during busy shifts.
