Full Job Description

Sweetwater Hospital Association is seeking a Registration Clerk to join our healthcare team. The Registration Clerk is responsible for welcoming patients, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information, completing patient registration accurately and efficiently, and providing excellent customer service. The Registration Clerk works closely with patients, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure a smooth and accurate registration process.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous healthcare, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to accurately enter and verify patient information.
Knowledge of insurance and registration procedures preferred.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
