Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Cost Control Analyst that may also serve as a PMO Lead for a major biopharmaceutical client in vicinity of Athens and Gainesville, GA. The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of over 70 capital and facilities improvement projects valued at approximately $300M over a multi-year period. Project types may include office, laboratory, and manufacturing facilities improvements and related site and infrastructure improvements. The selected candidate will develop and maintain cost control procedures and templates for end-to-end cost control and financial reporting for the program, implement document control procedures, and support standardized governance, transparency, and performance management across the program lifecycle, from early planning through execution and closeout.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain cost control procedures and templates

· Establish cost breakdown structures (CBS) and alignment with WBS

· Develop and maintain:

o Cost estimates

o Approved budgets and baselines

o Forecasts at completion (EAC)

· Track budgets, commitments, actuals, forecast

· Monitor:

o Cost variance

o Forecast variance

o Contingency utilization

· Support change management:

o Cost impact assessments

o Change logs and approvals

· Prepare monthly cost reports for project and program leadership

· Support audits and governance reviews

· Support the Purchase Order process via SAP, Webuy

· Support contractor and vendor document submissions

· Track document status and progress (e.g., review cycles, turnaround times)

· Maintain audit-ready document trails
