Full Job Description

Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Location: Duluth, GA

Summary

Join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and play a key role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This position partners closely with leadership, operations, and accounting to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights that drive business results.

We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with large datasets, and is eager to contribute to a growing finance team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
Build financial presentation slide decks for monthly management reviews, budget meetings, and annual planning sessions.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Analyze income statements, budget-to-actual results, and financial trends while communicating key findings to management.
Create customized financial reports and perform ad hoc analysis using Microsoft Excel.
Manipulate, analyze, and consolidate data from multiple sources to support reporting and business decisions.
Work within ERP and financial reporting systems to gather, analyze, and validate financial data.
Partner with operations, accounting, and other departments to understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the accounting team during the monthly close process and assist with special projects and other financial initiatives as needed.
Prepare accurate, timely, and professional financial reports and presentations for leadership.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3–5 years of Financial Analyst, FP&A, or related finance experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, income statement analysis, and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
Experience working with ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Computer Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

Work Schedule

Full-time position based in Duluth, GA.
This is an in-office position.

Physical Demands

Primarily office-based.
Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods and use standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
