Full Job Description

Are you the friendly, organized person everyone relies on to keep things running smoothly? Do you love kids and enjoy being the smiling face that families see when they walk in the door? If so, we’d love to meet you!

Our busy pediatric speech, occupational therapy, and ABA therapy practice is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. You’ll be at the heart of our clinic—supporting families, helping providers, and keeping the flow of the day on track.

Only applicants with prior medical office experience will be considered.

What You’ll Do

Warmly answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team member
Greet patients and families at the front desk and answer questions with patience and professionalism
Collect payments and provide receipts
Schedule new patients and assist with appointment changes and follow-ups
Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization for services
Follow up with insurance companies to help keep authorizations and claims moving
Use Microsoft Office and other practice systems to keep information accurate and organized

Who You Are

You have medical office experience (required)
You have front office experience (required)
You have insurance knowledge (CMOs, Medicaid, authorizations, insurance verifications)
You have knowledge of medical terminology (required)
You have experience in collecting and applying payments (required)
You’re organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
You’re comfortable with customer service and enjoy helping people
You’re excited to learn new skills and adapt to new systems
You’re confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
You bring a positive attitude and work well as part of a team

Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)

Work Location, Hours & Remote Work

Work Location: One outpatient clinic location (Roswell, GA)
Work Hours: Typical hours are between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Friday.
30-minute unpaid lunch daily
Schedule Flexibility: This position offers a flexible schedule with a mix of opening and closing shifts throughout the week, providing variety and supporting work-life balance while ensuring coverage during business hours.
Work Remotely: No - this is an in-person, patient-facing role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
