Full Job Description

Growing OBGYN practice is seeking a mature, driven BILINGUAL Medical Front Desk/Receptionist with a variety of skills who is able to work with patients and is able to document patient accounts in our EHR (DrChrono). Applicant MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish. In addition to being detail oriented, the applicant must be able to multi-task, have a dynamic and professional personality with our patients, both in person and on the phone, have a pleasant demeanor and be a team player.

Job Duties:

Welcome patients as they contact the office personally or by telephone.
Schedule appointments
Answer all incoming calls and route them to the appropriate staff.
Register all patients per registration protocols and collect all documentation.
Reviews and verify patient coverage of insurance.
Work closely with Medical and Nursing staff to assure smooth patient flow and cut down on waiting time.
Call and remind patients of their appointment.
Follow up on “no show” patients on a daily basis.
Check out patients and schedule follow up appointments.
Communicate patient’s problem/complaint to the office manager.
Other related duties as the job requires.

Ability to work under pressure.
Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and respect.
Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public.
Ability to handle multi-functions

BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A MUST!'
