Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise in radiologic procedures will support accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in fast-paced environments, including urgent care, emergency rooms, and specialized radiology departments. You’ll utilize advanced imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and collaborate closely with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Operate radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, with precision and care.
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures across orthopaedics
Ensure patient positioning and immobilization for clear, accurate images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Implement radiation safety procedures consistently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images captured, and patient information following medical terminology standards.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of radiologic images.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating medical imaging equipment including X-ray technology.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols diligently.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate service during imaging procedures.
Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist is required
Ability to operate complex radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to aseptic techniques when necessary.
