Position Overview

Norikase is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of our cuisine and supporting a smooth, efficient service. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to grow within a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute dishes according to Norikase recipes and standards
Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation before and during service
Ensure proper food handling, labeling, and storage (FIFO standards)
Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and quality
Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service
Assist with prep work including cutting, portioning, and ingredient preparation
Keep kitchen stations stocked and ready for service
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Support opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
Experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Reliable and punctual with consistent availability
