JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Coordinator is an essential role in effective project management. They will work closely with project team members, to aid in delivering projects efficiently. The Project Coordinator will manage the administrative tasks, such as updating project spreadsheets, communication internal and external, and monitoring key items in a project's success. The right candidate will need to understand and adapt to the process flow of the project and assist the project manager to meet all targets on-time and in budget.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Analyze risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project procurement management.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Use reporting tools to monitor working hours, plans and costs.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Undertake smaller scoped project tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years in an administrative role supporting management.
- Technical mindset and be able to adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Superb computer literacy for spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Time management skills, especially familiarity with task completion and goal setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field is a plus.
- ITIL Certifications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
