Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Placerville, CA. This role supports the escrow team with administrative, documentation, customer service, and closing-related functions in a professional real estate and property management environment.

The Escrow Assistant will work closely with escrow officers, lenders, agents, principals, title teams, and internal departments to help ensure escrow files are accurate, complete, compliant, and ready for successful closing. This is a strong opportunity for someone with escrow experience who enjoys a fast-paced, team-focused office setting where organization, confidentiality, accuracy, and service matter every day.

Candidates can expect a collaborative environment with supportive leadership, steady workflow, and the opportunity to build long-term escrow knowledge while contributing to successful real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and customer service support related to opening, maintaining, and closing escrow files.
Prepare, collect, review, and organize escrow documents in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Enter accurate transaction information into the escrow operating system and keep escrow files current.
Order payoff demands, beneficiary statements, insurance documents, loan documents, lender funding requirements, and other required closing documents.
Support escrow accounting functions, which may include receipts of funds, wire transfer requests, interest-bearing accounts, disbursement worksheets, and check distribution.
Prepare recording packages, closing instructions, closing statements, and related documentation for completed escrow files.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour.
Job type: Direct hire.
