Job Summary

CR Fletcher is recruiting for a HR and Payroll Administrator for a Professional Services Firm. This role involves managing comprehensive payroll processing, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and maintaining accurate HR records. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and accounting software, contributing to the seamless operation of our human resources and financial functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support organizational growth while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all transactions.

Responsibilities

Oversee payroll processing using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
Maintain and update employee records within HRIS platforms, including onboarding, terminations, benefits administration, and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to employment law, labor regulations, and tax law requirements across all payroll activities.
Reconcile payroll data with accounting software; perform account reconciliations related to payroll expenses.
Manage payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes; ensure timely submission and compliance.
Handle confidential employee information with integrity while supporting HR functions like benefits enrollment and leave management.
Collaborate with finance teams on accounts payable/receivable processes related to payroll expenses.
Support audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation related to payroll and HR activities.
Utilize time & attendance systems
Assist in implementing process improvements for payroll management and HR operations.

Skills

Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of payroll, human resources, or administrative experience.
Experience processing payroll and maintaining confidential employee information.
Knowledge of payroll laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paychex, ADP, UKG, Paylocity, or similar)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
