Full Job Description

Company Description

Blue Peacock Acupuncture is a rapidly growing acupuncture practice in University Place near Tacoma, Washington. We have a beautiful clinic with 4 treatment rooms, plus a manual non-practitioner massage room for our patients as well as a meditation room. We are currently a team of two acupuncturists and an office manager. We have an excellent reputation and high respect among the community and we would love to add another high quality acupuncturist to the team to help even more patients.

Role Description

The Licensed Acupuncturist will be responsible for evaluating patients' conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate chart notes, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the treatment areas. The Licensed Acupuncturist will be supported by an office manager/receptionist that will take care of billing, scheduling, checking insurance benefits, and checking patients in and out.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Washington
Masters degree or higher in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine
Strong knowledge and skills in acupuncture techniques, including cupping therapy and electro-acupuncture
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess and provide treatment based on individual client needs
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy practices
Friendly and supportive personality
Dependable with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Providing high quality care for patients, including building trust and retaining great rapport with patients
Punctual charting with electronic health records through Acusimple (training provided)
Excellent communication with staff and patients
Ability to treat in multiple rooms (30 minutes apart), we will build you up to that
Attentive and caring bedside manner

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
