Full Job Description

PCB Through-Hole/Selective Soldering Technician
We currently have an opportunity for candidates with electronic manufacturing and through-hole soldering experience for a Selective Solder Technician position with a contract IT electronics manufacturer in Aurora, OH..

In this position you will perform meticulous touch-up and soldering of through-hole components, with opportunities to expand skills to include touch-up SMT (fine pitch, SOIC, etc.).

Pay:

$20+/hour, based on experience

Hours:

8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Touch-up/solder Through-hole components and learn to touch-up SMT (Fine pitch, SOIC, etc.).
Install complicated board modifications using a microscope.
Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal.
Perform visual inspection of PCB’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
Basic soldering and de-soldering with a handheld soldering equipment is necessary.
Ability to track and request work supplies as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship.
Perform other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma.
Must have experience with touch-up/solder of components
Must have assembly experience and the ability to make piece parts on a repetitive basis.
Two years of electronic manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and follow detailed technical instructions
Must live within 20 minutes from Aurora
