Job Overview

Komatsu is currently recruiting a Field Service Technician to work at our Fort Meade, FL location

Key Job Responsibilities

Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment
Dragline experience
Able to diagnose Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical systems
Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
Test the repaired equipment for proper performance
Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a one year technical college education.
Experience with motor controls, circuit’s installations, reading and understanding schematics, PLC’s, Digital Drives and general troubleshooting
Knowledge on how to align couples on motors, transfer cases and gearboxes
Must have experience with Dragline heavy equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
Work in a diverse team environment
